Thus, my creative projects have fallen into two categories: (1) sewing with knits and (2) artwork and sprucing up the sewing room (Elena, 2013). Sorry I guess my working brain hasn't completely turned off yet.
Here are photos of some of our artwork projects. Elena helps with the backgrounds and thoroughly enjoys herself. She has specific artistic visions for each piece. Seems to enjoy the color blue a lot. I guess this is her blue period.

Yes she was ever so pleased with this lovely Oliver+S hopscotch top in darling owls knit fabric. She was not happy about the photo or the trying on part though. At least it fits!

Ooh, look at that awesome old serger!! So cool! I love the artwork, and of course, the top. My brain gets the same way about work vs. creativity, btw. I figure I need crafts to balance out my lawyer-brain. Make something real and tangible for a change ...
